Jamie Gold To Play High Stakes Poker Season III -Jamie Gold will appear on the Game Show Network on January 15. August 17, 2006 - by Jim Griffin

 

Jamie Gold has accepted an invitation to play in the third season of GSN's High Stakes Poker. It will be quite interesting to see how Gold fairs against the industries top players such as Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Shawn Shiekhan, Mike The Mouth and other top pros.

 

The past two WSOP Champions Greg Raymer and Joseph Hachem followed up their WSOP victories with many additional accomplishments and proved themselves as being the real deal.

 

With all the negativity surrounding Gold's name a strong performance in this event is much needed. The past three WSOP Champions have been great ambassadors to poker. To this point Gold has not proved to be anything more than a fluke and most of the poker community also questions his integrity and character.

 

We would love to see Gold fair well on this show as it would be decent for the industry.

 

Season 3 debuts on the Games Show Network on Monday January 15.
